Grants for the participants at the 21st NKG
The Nordic Gerontological Federation offers 10 grants for the participation in the congress. For each Nordic Country there are two grants.
- The grants can be applied for by researchers in gerontology and geriatrics who do not have a senior position. The grants are for those that have difficulties raising funds to cover the cost of attending the congress. It is required that the applicants submit an abstract here together with the grant application. Please sent you application to br@bdp.dk. The grant will not be awarded without an approved abstract.
- Each grant is SEK 5.000 and those who are accepted to receive a grant do not have to pay the congress participation fee. They have however to pay for an accompanying person.
- The application must include the following information: name, age, education, employment, situation and reason for applying. The application will be evaluated by the local scientific committee, the president of the congress and the president of the NGF.
- Application deadline: 15. Februar 2012.
Riksföreningen för Åldrandeforskning offers 5 grants for the participation in the congress.
- The grants can be applied for by young researchers in gerontology and geriatrics. The grants are for those that have difficulties raising funds to cover the cost of attending the congress. It is required that the applicants submit an abstract together with the grant application. Applicants with an approved abstract within the field of nutrition and mealtimes, oral health, exercise routines or assistive technology will be preferred. It is the aim to award one grant for each of the Nordic countries.
- Each grant is SEK 5.000 plus the congress participation fee.
- The application must include the following information: name, age, education, employment, situation and reason for applying. The application will be evaluated by the local scientific committee and the president of the congress.
